Loved the mixture of sounds: alt Rick, a country feel, strong beats, strings, horns, a sax! Especially loved the word play on several of the cuts! Recommend it strongly!

I'm not sure what I was expecting having little background on this project's genesis nor had I heard any of the songs before its completion. Yet, from the first song through the end of the last song I was increasingly intrigued by the poetry put to well written music, the excellent and easy on the ears vocals, and other stellar instrumental performances. I was also struck by the creativity and quality of the vocal harmonies and ended my listening of the entire collection with two more rounds of the entire album. Notable favorites: Desire, Longing to Find Myself Out, The Swallowing Part 1.

This project is a culmination of arts. I was one of the few that witnessed this project evolve from the beginning stages of simply scoring certain poems into individual musical pieces of art. Music has always been a major part of Nick's life, and it has always been a goal of his to produce a solo album.
The quality of this project amazes me as he was able to use all of his resources to produce such a powerful piece of art. I hope the rest of his audience interprets and appreciates this project similarly to the way I do too.
