    I grew up with Scott and his family. Back in Small Town, PA. Honest and faithful - exactly how he is in person and his music continues this path. Scott's family is amazing in their walk with God and his humble beginnings shine through in every word. My favorite from the Tightrope album is Just Because.

    I was actually looking for a wedding photographer when I came across a slideshow with background music by Scott Phillips. I am so very thankful that the website credited the name of the artist and song, Just Because, just because it's now my wedding song! Scott's music is very heartfelt and emotional. It is calming and original. I hope that he makes it big because there is real talent here...

    a friend of mine was helping me pick out an acoustic song for my sister to play at my wedding. she asked if i had ever heard of scott. i was instantly hooked on "just because". it has meaningful lyrics that inspire me to be a better wife and best friend to my husband every day. thanks to scott and his gift from God!

    I found Scott through a friend and I truly enjoy his music. He has a very relaxed acoustic, yet lively feel that is a nice break from a lot of current music. Two of my favorites on this album are Just Because and The World Disappeared. His lyrics are very poetic, real and honest which is something I appreciate. I can listen to this album over and over again. I highly recomend it.
