This EP is a perfect representation of X&G’s versatility as producers. From chilled to tastefully trapped this EP has it all…two of the best up and coming producers out right now. must buy.

"Cream always rises" Amidst an over-saturated genre we've all now heard the gamut. From the embarrassing attempts made by kids toying around on computers all the way to the most well-crafted mind-altering compositions, there is plenty of room to fail and succeed. X&G's release is a bold entry landing on the latter end of that spectrum. Riveting and haunting at the same time. Layers and layers of well composed sound. An EP to listen to through headphones with time to sit and listen. Take my word. Fantastic EP.

It is an album with a wide variety of amazing beats. They know how to please your ears with a taste of something new but catchy. Think Thievery Corporation on steroids.

If all of my late nights sounded like this, I wouldn’t ever complain. Salt Lake’s own X&G comprised of two artists (Xian & Gaszia) have always pushed aside the pigeonholed directionality electronic music has taken in the past few years; this debut EP is no exception. The duo manages to intricately weave dreamlike ambiance with hard-hitting trap influenced percussion throughout the entirety of the work, a combination that easily sets them apart from their contemporaries. Beginning with the laid back, free-flowing 4am, the journey then sleepwalks into the eccentric and danceable tracks ‘MAUB’ and ‘Mancha.’ The listener is then eased into ‘Home,’ which features some of the smoothest sounds in modern electronic music featuring the LA-based vocalist Kida. The final reprise of ‘Outward’ echoes the dark, ghostly elements present in each of the tracks, climaxing with an incredible progression that will leave you wanting more. I’m hoping they’ll deliver yet again.

There's a lot of heart in Xian & Gaszia's music! My fave track on this is "Home!" 2 of the freshest producers coming out and about right now. Don't sleep on them. Topboy producers

4am blends gliding synths, atmospheric ambience, and subtle vocal samples to form a refreshing and beautiful track, not often seen in today's industry.
