One of my most favorite albums by Chic. The superb musicianship by both Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards is beyond comprehension.

Nile and Bernard had a knack for cranking out catchy dance songs like "Good Times" and countless others. But behind the sometimes banal lyrics, was a group of incredibly talented musicians that far-exceeded the mindlessness of Disco. One listen to this album and you'll understand exactly I mean.

I loved this album when it came out. I never thought Chic was a disco band. I thought they made great, cool rhythm, groove strong songs. And this release really shows off Nile Rodgers' guitar work. There hasn't been a better , tighter duo of Nile and Bernard Edwards since. In the R&B scene where originality is scarce and is filled with rip-off samples, Chic are in a class by the themselves.
