  • BADLY MADE FAKE

Crystal Ships !?!? Jim Morrison spins in his grave if people listen to this. NONE OF THIS UM, 'MUSIC' IS FROM THE X FILES MOVIE. To call this a 'cover' album or 'tribute' is almost an X-Files crime. Do Not Want.
  • Don't bother purchasing

If you're looking for the music from the X-files: Fight the Future movie, don't waste your money on this. It's a poorly made remake. Stick with the original. It's much better!
  • This compilation is an X-File

The remake of the theme itself is horrid enough and should let you know where this "soundtrack" is going. With songs that don't even sound like they could be associated with the X-Files, I don't understand what that X-File Soundtrack track is about. Nothing but bad 80's esque techno. Perhaps could work by itself if you like this kind of music, but when you put X-Files on it, it fails miserably.

Props to the producers for having the guts to put this together. All of these tracks strain to sound sort of like the original artists, but discriminating fans don't give out an A for effort. Thank goodness I bought this mostly brilliant CD ten years ago. Do yourself a favor and find the original on eBay.

I want the real sound track, which has fantastic music. Another example of iTunes censoring the world. At least when music was on CD stores either carried or not. You could go get it from whoever carried it and still listen to it. This is just deplorable!
  • This is really sad ...

I own the original, it's one of my favorites (as I'm sure it is for every x-phile). I only discovered that this is the only itunes offering when a really bizarre album artwork showed up in my library.

This guy would have had better luck re-creating the sound track for "Plan 9 From Outer Space"
  • Kinda puzzling

If there's enough demand for the soundtrack to option a copy of some guy named Anthony Anderson covering it, why not just have the original soundtrack?
  • what is this crap?

This is an absolutely horrible attempt to reproduce the original album.
