Rewired

4.5 stars This album is their first made after the sad passing of lead vocalist Paul Young. Their other lead vocalist, Paul Carrack, sings for all the songs for the first time here. That isn't the only change; this album has more of an electronic influence than previous albums. Sure some songs in their past have had some electronic effects, but it's much heavier on this album. And they definitely do it very well!!! It all still sounds like Mike + The Mechanics, except for a couple tracks that seem like filler, which are "Underscore" and "Rewired." Every other song is highly enjoyable.
