Look… These guys are a part of an industry starving for soul. Starving for bands that pay their dues. Claw their way up by playing smokey (yes, back when they were) old clubs. Cut their teeth on being under paid and under appreciated. These guys have done that in spades. Listen to ANY track from ANY release. You’ll hear the same thing ring true. Honesty and integrity infused with soul that you only find once in a lifetime. Charlie and the boys harness magic. I can’t for the life of me figure out why these guys aren’t on cereal boxes and don’t have their faces on the side of buildings. I chose to review this album because it happens to be my first exposure to BBS. I wasn’t much of a Southern Fried anything. I’ve been born again deep fried.

I saw this band for the first time when they opened for Lynyrd Skynyrd in Dallas. They were incredible then and have only gotten better. This is raw, crunchy and awesome. Good songs. Buy it!
