  • Soothes the soul in many ways.

This album is simply genius. Why? It isn't saturated with someone's pointless poetry. I say this as a lover of many bands. The music world is filled with musicians...and "artists"...that strategically place a few uninspired words over a bland arrangement of chords, tricking people into dubbing their music as "hits". Jim Swanson takes out the middle-man of marketing schemes and plays from the heart. Delve into this man's deepest form and be blessed. You'll see what I mean when you do it. This album is peaceful and tasteful, while the spirit behind the music really drives it home. You'll feel it. Incredible job, Mr, Swanson!

In a society loaded with majorly processed pop hits, Jim's album scratches an itch that most albums these days don't seem to touch. It's purity and simplicity lend itself to make you feel like you can breath clearly again. With all the hustle and bustle of life in this world, this is exactly the album you need to listen to to slow you down and help you realize what's important. It's creativity seems almost effortless as the different tunes leave you guessing what's next, yet at the same time, make you fell like you've been listening to it for years. It's familiarity with a twist. It's logic in the truest sense. Instrumental is know to some as mood music because it can fluctuate the emotions of the listener. Jim's album does exactly that. It seems that it can inspire creativity, relax the mind, rejuvenate the soul, and even heal the heart, all at the same time. It's my little magic pill of an album if you will. So grab you a copy. It's (for lack of a better term) delicious.
