because it sounds a lot like Depeche Mode's earlier work. But I prefer the original.

I can't really explain what makes this record work, but my PlayCount for most of these songs is well over 100. It's just that kind of album.

When the whole synth rebirth happened in the early 2000's, I thought that Soviet did it better than most. They were a great band, and the music on this record is fun. Lyrically, it is pretty standard fare, nothing groundbreaking, but it doesn't distract from the melodies and song writing. I recommend this album to anyone that wants to listen to great electronic music that takes it's cues from DM "speak and spell".

Their sound is poppy and 80's sounding and it kind of makes me smile a bit. It fits in well with the recently nice spell of weather. I like it in the car. It's all nice and relaxed, layed back, smooth but with good beats. Very nice.

Warm, fuzzy and inviting electronic music. Depeche Mode-esque.
