Gentrified the Collection 2014

Casely and the Jank touch the soul on so many levels. I can feel Casely's experiences through the lyrics and music - pain, joy, hope. Every time I listen I am impressed all over again. Sound quality and depth of expression are hallmarks of this new talent. A truly talented and creative group.

Love the diversity on this album. From the pop/dance sofa, to the guitar and voice songs (my faves), to the reggae infused songs, to the country jam. We'll put together album. Great production. It's on repeat.

If you are looking for pre-packaged, value meal, dollar menu music, you will be disappointed. If you want to hear something that is actually genre-defying, you want to listen to this. To compare this music to other artists and songs I think misses the point of this music. Are you the kind of person who has thousands of songs by a wide variety of different artists? That person who can switch from something like The Black Keys to Usher, from Broken Bells to Adele, Arcade Fire to Avicii? You want to listen to this record. What is exactly is Jank music? You are going to have to listen and decide for yourself.

I'm in love with this album. It's amazing from start to finish. It's a different feel from Casely's past creations. He is definitely evolving as an artist. 🎤

I am a big music junkie, but when asked what/who I can relate this album to, I am truly at a loss. I can say with confidence that this is something authentically fresh, in a world of carbon copies and copy cats. The more you listen to these tracks, the more they grow on you. Casely’s vocals are on point. The flow from one song to the next is so eclectic that I don’t get bored and am repeatedly pleasantly surprised. The lyrics are raw and honest. Highly recommend.

This music is a great body of work! After listening to this EP and Album it's very difficult to listen to the other trash that passes as music these days. Everyone will be doing themselves a great service by listening and following these guys!

Casely has always been an awesome singer, songwriter and producer. His latest venture with Casely and the Jank shows a new side to Casely’s musical talent that should not be ignored. The songs have a level of maturity to their storytelling and musicality but also are catchy and instant hits! My favorite song is definitely “People” though I’ve found myself getting lost in this album play after play! So good. I highly recommend purchasing this collection!

Don’t be alarmed if you decide to chill out on your other music or even pause it altogether. Once you start exploring the Gentrified Collection, you’ll find a consistent, unwavering depth that rarely occurs in one’s lifetime. I could go on and on about the treasures that you can find, but I wouldn’t want to spoil it for anyone. Just know that when you go traveling with Casely and the Jank, you’ll find what you are looking for.
