A Soulful, Thoughtful debut.

The songwriting is thoughtful, generally uplifting, and at times, poignant. Standouts include the soulful title track 'this is my day',the infectious driving pop of 'blue line' and the cover of a deep cut from the five Americans "7:30 guided tour" which was slated to be a big single, until they spontaneously dropped their label, Robin Hood Brians pens a fun Brit influenced trip around Europe.
The playing is great, with the band led by well known studio and touring drummer Paul Leim, who gets a producer credit on this one. Paul played on a great many of the hits you heard in the last 30 years, including work with Lionel Ritchie, Shania Twain, Kenny Chesney, and Carrie Underwood.
Also holding down the fort is studio legend David Hungate, of Toto fame.
Check it out, it bears repeated listening!
