This came out when I was in High School. I still have the CD. These days I have no CD player and I got the digital album and was like... I am going to get only the songs I like... the whole album is so good. Faith no more was such a great band. Open your horizons and listen to this. It is a refreshing break from hip hop and pop.
- Perfect 10. This album is literally my favorite of all time.

Nothing else Ive heard compares to this album. This is The Real Thing. Being a jock at a rock radio station, I've heard quite alot of music over the years…ive surrounded myself with all the greats: Zeppelin, Beatles, Floyd, The Smiths, Talking Heads…I have spent long periods of time invested into bands such as Ween, The Doors, Daft Punk, Nine Inch Nails. My taste is all over the map. I can also say that music is also incredibly subjective as well. Tastes differ from person to person…but chances are, if you are on this page reading reviews for The Real Thing, you have likely stumbled upon the greatest 80’s gem of all time. Each song is a masterpiece. I cant tell you how many times ive just sat down with this album and listened to its remarkable range enveloped in pure ecstasy. Its literally The Real Thing. Do yourself a favor and listen to it. Or don’t listen to it. All I can say is, this album changed my mindset about music. It’s worth at least a listen.

The Real Thing, edge of the World, Underwater Love! So many great songs. Epic is a nice introduction. Each song gets better and better! Without a doubt one of the best albums Of all time. With the eclectic stylings of Mike Patton on lyrics and vocals- Faith No More was a band WAY ahead of their time. Not only does each song get better- so does each album.
