These guys are like DFA1979 meets Mogwai or something. I could see myself buying this when I have money.

One of the best live bands on earth. Not as good on CD. But live, wow.
  • NINJA ACADEMY ROCKS ! ! ! !

My favorite track are Insects, Und Keine Eier, and Fenster's theme. I have seen these guys live and they are amazing! Only 2 members in the band! Makes other bands seem excessive and lame. Why have a guitar player, why have vocals? You don't need them and these guys prove it.

I love iTunes because it allows me to experiment with new music, guilt-free. Ninja Academy was one such experiment. Their hard-rock/alternative edge reminds me of old-school punk rock like Joy Division, Love and Rockets, and a little Nine Inch Nails... But with stealth and weapons. The best song on this album is "Your Kung Fu S***s!". You can tell they have fun making music and fighting evil forces. The beats are infectious and their riffs are martial. My only comment is that every song begins to feel the same after a while. I would love to see them experiment on a song or two with new instruments (a Ninja has many weapons in their arsenal). Maybe they need to switch up the guitar a little or maybe add a synthesizer or something. My senses detect that Ninja Academy is on the path to musical enlightenment. This album is a ninjtastic jam session. But they haven't reached the top of the mountain.... Yet. It's worth checking out. But I want to see where they go from here.

Although I didn't have the money to buy the whole album, I did buy Pay no attention to the man, behind the man and I was impressed by the bands style (and love for ninjas)... Though it could be givin a 3 star by some, the bands creativity and originality won me over.
