I remember when Ryan got popular. I was around 14-15 years old. He came out with his first album then this one and then he just kinda died out along with usher, green day, ashlee simpson and lindsay lohan. IDK where they all went (except lindsay) but i miss the old days with these great artist. this is a great cd to listen to

Why are you not making new songs b/c you are a good singer? Keep on singing your dreams out. Make more songs get going with it.

I was recently introduced to different kinds of music from my Mum, and one of these was Take It All Away from Ryan Cabrera. I was immediately blown away- being a die-hard country fan, I had no idea I'd be able to listen to something without dying a little on the inside. However, Ryan Cabrera made me realize I was soon going to transition from die-hard country to live-on Pop/Rock. The teen star's best hit is (arguably) either Echo Park, Exit to Exit, or medias' favorite, On the Way Down. However, for the sole purpose of those unfortunate many on a budget and can't spend all their money on an album, I highly recommend Shine On, Walking on Water, Photo, and From the Start. All in all, the only reason it's 4 stars is because I can't give 4 3/4.

each of these songs are different from the other. it makes the album satisfying and very worth the money, I PROMISE. :) this guy has real talent. it shines through in every single song. i usually don't listen to this kind of music, mellow and laid back. im more partial to screaming and heavy guitar. but it's something about ryan; he just makes songs i want to listen to forever. they neverever get old :D this is my favorite album in the whole wide world.<3

But I am listening. I remember when Ryan Cabrera's "True" was the talk of the pop industry, or soft rock industry, as I would call it. I was such a fan, I immedeatly went out and bought his first CD and was in love. Ryan was always my secret obsession, for I am not one to really listen to this typ of music, but now it's like I just can't help myself. After his sophomore album was released, he wa sno longer a sensation. Ryan had changed his sound, and not everyone was alright with accomidating to it. In November, only two months after this CD was released, I went and saw Ryan preform, and he just blew me away. Not only did he play every song on the album, he sounded exactly like he did on the record, and I couldn't have been happier. I'm not going to get too deep with explaining each song, but the highlights in my mind would have to be Hit Me With Your Light, Find Your Way, Our Story, Fall Baby Fall, and With You Gone. Although Shine On was the biggest hit off of this album, Ryan accomplished so much more with the songs I listed, and it would definetly be thrilling to see his next album just like this. Worth every penny, and a true listen.
