It’s no doubt that I love the Monkees but I didn’t realize how great Davy’s solo albums truly are. If you are looking for a peppy and fun album, then this is perfect for you. Such a wonderful album. I truly enjoy this very much.

When I was a 6 year old Monkee fan - I was gonna be Davy Jones - he was the greatest - the critics in the 60's didn't have a clue - they just didn't get it - what the Monkees meant to us - they were just interested in dismantling them - this lp was after Monkeemania - this was Davy trying to find his place in the entertainment world - and his fans were trying to find him - this is Davy Jones being Davy Jones after The Monkees - I love this lp - discover solo Davy - let the journey begin.

Whomever wrote the review above obviously has no idea that Davy Jones had a record deal before being cast as one of the Monkees. This record has some great broadway style tunes which matches Jones’ voice perfectly. Many upbeat and singable tunes, a must for any Monkee Collector. I’m so glad it has finally been re-released.
