After their Letterman performance... you would be a fool not to listen to them!!! They are outstanding

I like it, but it feels very familiar. Much like an underrated band called Human Drama that is no longer and the 80s power pop band The Cars. The break no ground, but it is solid.

I didn't like Seasons the first time I heard the album version, but after watching a few versions of it live along with other songs, I was hooked!! It's amazing what one can do with a synthesizer, the rythm section is tight and Samuel T Herring's voice and lyrics really powerful. I love when I first hear a band I think I don't like but there's just something there to make you want to discover more, until you realize how great they are. Doesn't happen that often for me, but this was definitely worth the wait!! If you're just discovering these guys jsut now like I am and are still hesitating, go to Youtube and check out their set on Letterman or the Jools Annual Hootenanny 2015- they're freaking awesome!!!

I’ve gone from watching these guys start out at house parties at East Carolina University to being on Letterman and Bono calling them “bloody brilliant” or whatever. Since day one they had an uncanny ability to make people dance like crazy lil covered in sweat, and there was always a ton of random make out sessions at their shows in the crowd for some reason. So in short, see them live. But their records are fantastic , original, and the huge buzz is not at all undeserved. This one had to grow on me but the 2nd listen had me hooked! Also, do not freestyle battle Sam. I’ve seen him shame some people back in the day.

Have been following these guys for a while (extremely pre-Letterman) and they never fail to disappoint. This album proves their continued maturity as a group. Fantastic production from beginning to finish, every song is capable of being a top hit on it’s own. “Seasons" is great, don’t get me wrong, but I wouldn’t say it is the standout track. If after to listening to this album and you’re still on the fence, please please see them live. Some of the greatest shows I’ve seen in person!

I saw Future Islands live last year and have been hooked on their modern grooves ever since. It’s an absolute MUST to see these guys live! An AMAZING experience!

Great! A solid listen all the way through. A fun, timeless sound thats feels fresh at the same time.

All the songs are great, I agree they are really great to watch and the music is unique.
