- Mason Proffit still sounds great

I saw Terry Talbot a couple times a few years ago and he has not lost any of his charisma. I like the oldies on this album...have all of them on vinyl...but some of my real favorites were not on here. If you have a chance to see Terry and/or Mason Proffit DON'T MISS THE OPPORTUNITY! He doesn't talk about ****kicking music anymore, but the voice is still perfection. The album is not capable of capturing the joy of a Mason Proffit concert...so I had to drop a star.

really simple. good musicians, good singers, good compositions. "old guys rule" is a GREAT song. bought all of the other mason proffit stuff on itunes, and this one equals them. i actually liked the new "two hangmen" cut. people need to be objective and LISTEN to the cd. i have seen terry talbot live, and i hope that mason proffit tours soon. also, check out terry's solo cd "steps of the mission". that one, as is this one, a guitar lesson on a cd. most people should just hope to be this good, ever.

I Have The Original Song On The Wanted Album And It's Still Better Than a Remake !
I Have Looked For Two Hang Man On CD For Awhile, I Guess That I'LL Have To Settle For This Version Of The Song I Knew From The Seventies.

As an 'old' fan of Mason Proffit, I am really glad to have them on iTunes. I, also, would love to see some of the 'origional' recordings available here.

This was my first Itunes experience. I could only get this through Itunes and the sound is great. The performance is another story but I have a soft spot for this band and to me it still sounds good. I would use the service again.

I was also overjoyed to see Mason Profitt listed on iTunes, but really disappointed by the selections. Get the originals and the response might be surprising.....

Great album with some really good remakes. Good to hear Terry Talbot's voice again. And Al Perkins contribution makes every song a 'must have!' "Old Guys Rule" is awesome - my new favorite song. "Two Hangmen" is also great, but to appreciate, it must be listened to as a new song due to some lyric changes. Overall a pleasant surprise from a great band from the old days.

I was very disappointed in song # 5: Two Hangmen. This is one of my all time favorite songs, but this particular version has alternative lyrics and the tune is not the same as the original.
