Great mashup of songs with a catchy beat. Shows that classical music is way more than us young people ever thought! Timeless

What a wonderful way to learn that classical music is not dreary and boring but inspirational, romantic, sad, moving and just plain fun. This music is timeless - in other words classical, and Hooked On Classics answers the "why?'!

I love the songs on this!!!! My grandmother got a tape in her Oldsmobile delta 88, and I remember listening to it, until it was totally worn out :)

I love listening to the classics! Symphony of the Sea reminds me of "Popeye the sailor man" and brings me back to the days of watching saturday morning cartoons. I always had to eat my spinach like Popeye did when I was young. I will always enjoy the classics

I just remember my parents blasting this on Saturday afternoons when I was growing up. It's comforting to me to hear this music.
  • Campy, but fun

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I know these Hooked on Classics albums are a but campy, but they're so much fun. They're also a great introduction for beginners to the world of classical music... and the snappy disco beat! Hey! you can even dance to it. I'm looking forward to all the other Hooked on Classics albums.
