From the very beginning he lays out exactly what we are seeing now, over a decade later. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone.

Many know Chomsky's work on U.S. foreign policy, and given the events of the past four years, his work in this area is more relevant than ever. This disc, however, deals with the U.S. economy and its effects in the real world. Chomsky is typical in that he both simplifies apparently complex economic issues and at the same time, totally nails it. This particular talk focuses on the Clinton Economy, but the broader issues are how we define wealth, the behavior of U.S. corporations, class realities in the United States, and understanding perhaps the most dominant myth of our time - the so-called "free market" and the reality of what it means for working people. If you're unfamiliar with this aspect of Chomsky's work, I can't recommend it enough, especially his perspectives on the labor movement (especially "Class War").
