The Poacher Diaries

needless to say, this is one of the best split albums ever put forth. from the get-go converge and agoraphobic nosebleed compliment eachother perfectly, representing the off-the-wall extreme of both their generas; that description though is a little off, to try and fit either band's unique brilliance into a sigle genera is near impossible, but for the sake of argument, converge play hardcore-ish alternative metal, while AnB plays "hyper-grind". the material here is among the groups most amazing work, and is all very extreme, even for metal. the quality of the songs does not diminish throughout, giving this album a surprising unity that almost all other splits are lacking. there is something eerily similar about the bands, maybe its the way the music blends with the vocals to create a hectic, yet almost trance-like sense of insanity. whatever it is, IT WORKS. dont let this one pass you by.

you misspelled converge.

Locust reighn and like every other song on this cd are so underated making it the most underated converge cd ever.

first, it's not the "poached diaries". second track 12 has left out an "R" in stretch. there were also several misspellings and misnamed tracks on other conerge albums here on itunes. i appreciate them putting the songs on here, but do it right guys! also, most of the converge material on here was previously released and appeared on the caring and killing album which was sort of an amalgam of their older unrecorded and rare tracks.

I originally picked this up for Converge,who i love to death. I found myself equally blown away by Agoraphobic Nosebleed. Sheer brilliance to combine these two monsters. Bravo! Ain't Ashamed
