We are big fans of the signer song writer genre. Saw Jon play a house party last night and he blew us away. We then downloaded the CD and have enjoyed it for a few spins today. He is a great singer and song writer, and the CD is outstanding. Mary is a great song, but our favorite was Hope. Well worth the time and money.

A beautifully melodic album that's evocative of the New England environment where it's produced. Well worth a listen, it's guarenteed you won't be able to get these gentle Americana-esque ballads out of your head.

This a collection of wonderful songs that are heartfelt without sounding sentimental. Jon Nolan is one of the most amazing live acts and makes you wonder every time you here some boy band on the radio- why isn’t Jon Nolan a rock star-making millons
  • not quite Say ZuZu, but quite good

Sure, the Say ZuZu stuff is stronger, but there are some real gems in this collection. If you like Whiskeytown, Wilco, etc. you'll dig Nolan's stuff. Give it a try!
  • Cheesynut's review is about as credible as his syntax.

Not only is it incredible, it's unfair. A friend gave me this disc. It's solid singer-songwriter stuff. Nice tunes. Nice lyrics. Nice vocals. Great playing. The work of a true craftsman. It's informed by blue grass and old-timey and jangly-guitar pop. If you like Greg Trooper, Darden Smith, David Wilcox, and musicians of a similar ilk, you'll like this work.
