Country radio: Country is what YOU make it. Please play more REAL country like this and we will hear more artists return to their roots, and less of the "bro's" pretending to be country. Nothing fake here, just great music. May this be the restart of a great career!
  • So good to hear your voice again!

If you have been following Julie's career, you know she has one of the best voices in all of Country Music. This collection of recordings is just outstanding. "I'll close my eyes," is just "VINTAGE" Julie Roberts where her vocals are just out there front and center for everyone to hear. Not to mention she is one of the most beautiful women in Country Music today !!! Way to go Julie !!!

Julie has truly out done her self with this incredible, soulful and absolutely powerful album!!! She managed to bring back real country with a little bit of blues! I look forward to my drive to work every morning just because I can blast this album all the way there! Doesn't get much better!!
  • This Voice Says it All on "Good Wine and Bad Decisions"...

Classic...bluesy...soulful. A voice and songs reminicent of some of the fine country female singers of yesterday yet totally fresh and modern. It's hard to imagine all of this on one album, but Julie Roberts hit this one out of the ballpark when she combined her vocal talent with songs that definitely, as they say down South "have some meat on the bones". This isn't the usual fluff that masquerades as country radio these days. Yes, it's country, but so much more. Anyone who enjoys songs with a message and a story (whatever your genre of preference) sung by a voice that resonates with every heartache it sings about will love "Good Wine and Bad Decisions". From the title track (which I can't stop humming) to the once popular "He Made A Woman Out of Me" right on to the final cut, "I'm Not Getting Any Better at Goodbyes", you'll think about these songs long after you click off whatever type of device you're playing them on...a rarity these days. To sum it up, with "Good Win and Bad Decisions", the only bad decision here is to not buy it...so do. It's good stuff that deserves to be heard as well as recognized by the music industry. Thanks, Julie, for this winner!
