If you love a great singer/songwriter, you won't get much better than this. Weaving his passionate voice into his "that's how I feel" lyrics create an amazing listener experience. If you have the opportunity to catch him live, drop all previous plans and go...he only gets better live!

We had the pleasure of working with Damien to stream his first concert of the Brothers and Sisters of the Eternal Son tour live to hospitalized kids. Damien is not only a fantastic and innovative artist who is always pushing himself to achieve new depth and quality in his music, he is a soft hearted and compassionate man who cares deeply for others and uses his art to reach beyond the limits of his physical frame... This album is fantastic, buy it.

Damien Jurado is the absolute best there is out there, hands-down. I've been following him for over 15 years and have seen him live a countless number of times. Next show I'm seeing him is when he plays Philadelphia on Saturday1/25. Whether he's with a full band or sitting on a stool with his acoustic guitar, he never ever fails to impress. I highly highly highly recommend buying any one of his albums. From Ohio to pre-ordering his new one, you just can't go wrong. Also if you do see him live, say hello to him after the show. He's a super nice guy and very approachable. Enjoy this beautiful music, you won't be sorry!!!

Currently listening to a stream of the album and it’s what you’d expect from this man. Extremely great musician who always has a message to share and there is a sense of pride and passion in his music. If you’re into acoustics look no further!
- Juardo and Swift create masterpiece

I listened to the stream on NPR and was blown away. Juardo just keeps growing and moving into some kind of alternate universe. Don’t get me wrong, because I love the alt-country/americana stuff...that is just freakin’ gold but you got to keep pushing your boundaries. Are their timeless truths in “Ohio” and “Denton, Tx”? You’re GD right they are but freakin’ “Caught in the Trees”, “Saint Barlett” and “Maraqopa” are just brilliant. If you need your acoustic fix, go see him live…really, GO SEE HIM LIVE!
