From the beginning till the last song of this brilliant album.. Chet Baker grabs my attention like no other with the sound of his sooth angelic voice and his brilliant trumpet playing . I listen carefully and deep into my soul, the beauty, that sound, leaves me breathless, a bit hypnotized, and puts me in a good mood! Chet Baker, the one and only, no one will ever ever ever come close to sound like him. Too bad he's gone so soon, too bad oh what a beautiful soul he was..🎺🎤🎼❤️

It amazes me how underrated Chet Baker is, he's one of the best jazz musicians I've ever heard.

What else can you say? Every one of Chet’s solos here is a miniature masterpiece, and several of the tunes are just flawless. Some folks don’t dig Chet’s singing, but I find he brings a wistful depth to even the more mundane songs.
