    At 16 I was blessed with a trip to my father's Texas town. A month, to ride and rope, tractors, rodeos, a pickup with country western. Glory for a Yankee. This album takes me back again and again.

    I was introduced to Chris's music about 20 years ago, and have enjoyed it ever since. There is an energy and sincerity in his music that is lacking in much of music, in all genres, today. This album is a good selection for the uninitiated with songs that exemplify the broad emotional range in his work.
