A great band ! Mark Farner was the spirit and songwriter behind this band. Very unfortunate that Mel and Don cant try to mend the fence.
  • Blew Led Zeppelin of stage as a warm up band

Led Zeppelin was so frustrated after GFR open for them, Zep played a few and left because the crowd keep asking for encore for GFR!!!

Favorite Grand Funk album. Biggest band of the early 70's. Sold out Shea faster than the Beatles. Two tours and two albums per year. The original People's band (along with fellow Michigan brothers the MC5). Forget the snooty Rock Hall of Fame. Mark, Don, and Mel rule. Long live the Funk!

Why this group has no reviews is beyond me. Also, why are they not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame? Simply amazing . Purchase this : it is well worth the money!!
