Shelby Lynne continues to produce her own music, real music, not that which is put to market surveys and cranked out of the Nashville “music” machine. On this EP Lynne sings and delivers melodies straight from experience and heart. The reason it works is because she is honest; she does not give a **** about serving executive masters with over-produced “experts” in the room. This EP delivers a wonderfully different direction for Ms. Lynne, and one we need more of. I applaud the honesty.
