  • We just follow our Lord...

Since when does a servant of The Lord only do what the fans want? I'm sure Sandi puts her trust in following her Lord and not the crowd. Perhaps she wanted a toned down album that reflected her wisdom and peace in her later life after years of trials and blessings. And please, don't compare this woman of God to Cher! Sandi will never flaunt herself to sell anything, she serves God to inspire people to be more like Christ, less of the world, that's Biblical! It's not about sales but Godly inspiration. There's an audience for Sandi in any style of singing.
  • Getting Real...

It appears sandi is getting more realistic about her aging voice with this new album which is, admittedly, one of the best vocal albums in years. if she's going to continue singing, she has to start backing off the high notes as her vibrato is getting lose and intonation intermittently off. love the signer, love the message, and understand this next season in her career.
  • Love it!

A great departure for Ms. Patty. Only complaint is the arrangement on Another Time, Another Place with Wayne Watson. Original was sooooo much better! But overall, a good CD to listen to and sing along with. Don't miss the big production arrangements at all.

I LOVE hearing all sides of Sandi, and I love hearing her sing these worship songs! Whether it was different or not, I'm thrilled she is still releasing albums! I love hearing her new stuff as well as listening to the oldies but goodies like Upon This Rock. I'm your biggest fan, Sandi!!!

Album overall is good, but I wish they had left another time and another place alone.
  • An honest review without being mean.

I bought my copy of this last night at Target. I must say as I die hard Sandi Patty fan this cd was not what I expected. If you are looking for the typical Sandi Patty project with hugh orchestral arrangements and soaring vocals this is not at all like that. Instrumentation is very acoustic with piano, bass, acoustic guitar, hammond organ and an occasional synth string section. In addition if you are looking for a cd to get your motor going in the morning, this one isn't it. Sandi's vocals sound good because she is always good but I feel there are no recordings better than some of the ones she did in the 90's like "Morning Like This" and "Make His Praise Glorious." That's the Sandi Patty that I grew up loving. I saw her in Ohio a few months back with Wayne Watson and Larnelle Harris and they were all amazing!! Overall this won't be one of my top 5 favorite Sandi Patty recordings but I will rip it to iTunes and put it in the playlist with all the others of hers and let it shuffle play as part of all the great music she has done.
  • Where are the four missing tracks?

The album is great and I enjoy every song on here. Love hearing Sandi's other reflective and gentle side. We are in a time where we need to slow things down and focus on him. Cant wait to see what the tour brings in 2014. Another must have to add to my extensive collection of worship music. I will for sure be using these songs in my church services. Hope God blesses you while you listen to this project as much as he has blessed me!!!
  • Seriously? Who told her THIS was a great idea?!

So I am baffled as to why La Diva Sandi decided to release such a drab sleeper such as this. I mean when your not getting any younger, & your fan base is clinging to every high note you hit, you should release what your public demands, & this is something that NO ONE will be talking about! Come on Sandi get with the program! These pieces are funeral arrangements at best! Even Cher at 67 just came out with more breath taking songs on Her most recent Album! Take notes Diva!
