This album is just...it’s just...perfection. If you’re considering this album, you will not be disappointed. I consider myself a bit of a music snob, and this album melts me.

I read about this album on a year end review and immediately loved it upon hearing the first song. The review compared it to Dimmu Borgir’s Death Cult Armageddon and I have to agree. Symphonic instruments, clean stoic vocals, plus the mandatory black/death metal vocals align this album closely to previous black metal works. Sometimes almost too much. Except, here’s the thing…it’s so good. Death Cult Armageddon is an amazing album and this one is just a 2013 version of DCA. I’ve listened to the album three times in a day and still think this album rocks. If you like Dimmu Borgir or other symphonic black metal pick this one up.

Grave Declaration has overtaken Antestor as the best black metal band in my opinion. Great quality recording, brutal music, lots of symphonic elements, and a great message throughout! I can't pick any songs to label as the best because they are all just amazing. I recommend this to anybody who likes Dimmu Borgir or Cradle of Filth, but could do without the satanic lyrics.
