I grew up listening to Christian Rock and 2nd Chapter of Acts was one of my favorite bands. This album came out when we were reading the Narnia books and the cassette tape was played over and over again. I listen to it now again with my own kids and they love it! It’s fun, timeless and follows the 1st story, The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe.

The Roar of Love took awhile to get permission from the C S Lewis Foundation to be released. But it was well worth the wait. From the joyful Are you going to Narnia to the White Stag the songs highlight the events from the book, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. Turkish Delight renders Edmonds temptation in bewitchment by the White Witch. Alsans triumphant rising from the dead is declared in He's Broken Thru. Enjoy as you are exilerated by The Roar of Love.

Masterpiece composed by the brilliant Annie Herring. As with all 2nd Chapter of Acts recordings, this is piano driven rock with great vocals; per usual, Nelly Ward really shines here. If you are looking for an escape to Narnia this record opens wide the wardrobe's door.

Love it. This album is a wonderful beaututiful Christian music album with catchy songs. You can here the 80's musical influence. Remember this was before the popular Narnia movies. It is a 1980 album I believe. When I saw the movie I was hoping to hear some of these songs somehow but I guess the fit wasn't right for the movie. Enjoy!
