Unreal, rare, and raw talent. The beauty with which Kalo delivers her soulful swoon is inspired. Her striking vocals mixed with the hard-driving bass lines and piercing wail of electric rock will entrance you. Her rugged, raspy gravel as she howls in "March to the Light" is brash, bluesy brilliance. This is what the blues are all about; not to be merely heard, but felt. Put this album on and let it get inside you.

Great blues. Great songwriting. Great album. Once I had a heart and tender love. Fantastic.

A classic female blues voice that can thunder through in songs like Once I had a Heart and slow down to deliver a great love song like Can't Sleep at Night. When she brings the thunder, it is like the Black Keys have a sister. When she is tender, it brings you peace. She is a talent can't wait for more of the same.

There is no way to not like "Like it or not." It's a rockin' blues song.
