    This album is simply epic; From the opener 'messes of men' to the chill inducing finale, 'in a sweater poorly knit', this album is some of the best song writting out there.

    Aaron Weiss is very likely the most lyrically gifted songwriter of our generation. Brother, Sister is an incredibly well-sculpted whole, with line after line of tear-inducing honesty and poetry. There can never be a doubt in the listener's mind that Weiss does this for the sake of the music and the art form; no other reason is left. The carefree, passionate delivery of every word packs more soul into a single phrase than many artists will ever achieve in their career. Music has never quite moved me in the way this album has, and I'm always bleary-eyed by the time I finish yet another play through.
