    I feel like everyone who was listening to music heard this album when it came out and the album is superstar status yet somehow remains a bit underground to the point I think it will be somewhat of a hidden gem in future generations. I can still rock this just like when it came out. Real music magic happened with this. I have a lot of memories tied up with Empire of the Sun music but nostalgia doesn’t always sound so good like this when you go back to an album you loved. Still gold a decade later.

    This album hits us with 4 brilliant dance hits in a row right from the beginning! And then "Country" is an awesome instrumental. "Without You" is a beautiful slow dance song. This is definitely some of the best music of the 2000s. The rest of the album, though not my favorite, is still original and interesting. And the 3 non-album tracks from this deluxe edition are enjoyable as well, especially "Romance To Me".

    I kept hearing this song every time the new Honda Civic (2016) commercial aired and I finally used Shazam to find out who the artist was (Empire of the Sun) and name of the song. If you're not yet familiar with it, "Walkin on a Dream" is a chill Electronica song that makes you want to go driving (good job ad agency, your ploy worked!) But seriously though, it's a great song to include on your Spotify "Road Trip" mix especially when you're night driving thru the desert from LA to Las Vegas (in your new Honda Civic of course! Lol) 😊 -B
