  • A Flawless Treasure

I will begin by saying that this album is an exceptional one. I found that "Love is Here" is one of those rare "golden" albums that is solid throughout and does not offer a single weak track. Everything comes together flawlessly and brings forth wondrous melodies the range from the intense, emotionally powerful, like "Way to Fall" and "Alcoholic" to the more lighthearted, refreshing, and even positive, like "Goodsouls" while still maintaining a consistent style and formula . These songs are all masterfully led by the vocals of James Walsh which soar beautifully whilst also displaying a certain fragility in them which poignantly pull at the heart strings and precisely convey emotion into the tracks with perfect clarity. Additionally, the introduction of Barry Westhead's keyboard and piano skills completes the album's sound by adding a tasteful amount of complexity to the bands rich, yet simple style. I can say with much confidence that this album is a 5 star masterpiece of it's genre and will not disappoint. I cannot begin to express how much I believe this album to be an absolute essential, especially for those who enjoy the styles of early millennial Alternative and post-Britpop.

After playing Metal Gear Solid 3 I looked hard for the song "way to fall" for a long time after hearing the rest of the Album I am pretty impressed and I'm wondering why more people haven't picked up or rated this album, it's really quite good has a nice soft rock feel to it I recommend it to anyone who likes soft rock
