This is by far the best they have put out. Every song is amazing and gives me the chills every time i blare this album in my car and garage. I have no idea what these other people are even thinking when they comment something other than Flawless!! Keep up the great work guys and can't wait to hear more!!!! Would buy this album over and over and over again.
  • Forget all these negative people, this album is amazing!

Look, this is my first time buying an album from these guys. This is way better than I imagined it could be. It's a perfect blend of rock, scream-o, and techy stuff. Usually, i dislike tech stuff, but this band uses it amazingly well. Reminds me of Korn. Love this album, and this album has better timing in its songs than the others. Well done, A Skylit Drive. I love the change. Though admittedly, the band would be better if the lead guy's voice was deeper, but other than that minor detail, its great. Amazing guitar, and the scream-o makes the song amazing and hard-edge.
  • Let down.

I had really high hopes for this album, and I wanted to like it so bad. But I just don't like more than a few parts of a few songs. It just sounds so uninspired. They really went down the path of laziness with this one. Very predictable, mildly catchy, but 100% forgettable. Do yourself a favor and skip this album.

One word best describes this album, LAZY. Lazy lyrics, lazy song writing. Jag's vocals have never sounded more flat and unenthused. I didn't think these guys could ever let me down but they have. Where's the technical guitar work? Where are the crazy tempo changes? Where's the dynamic they used to have with some of the best scream/clean vocals in the scene? Even the screaming (what little there is) is flat and makes little impact. All you kids saying that this is their best album, go listen to the last 3. "Rise" is boring, lazy 4-chord "catchy" chorus lameness that sounds like all they care about is getting played on the radio. Hideous follow up to 3 spectacular records.

I've been following this band since "she watched the sky," and I have to say, this is the first album since "Jag" became involved that I've truly enjoyed. His voice finally leveled out and just fits with A Skylit Drive's sound. This is some respectable emo music, and I love it.
  • Excellent, as always

This band has once again shown that they have potential to improve and accept new types of harmonies and sounds... a must for any ASD fan out there
