I was skeptical when a friend told me about Foster. Afterall, I'm stuck on country of the 70's and 80's. How could a new artist be so remarkable? But he was right and then some! I got Rythm and Whiskey first and that got me hooked. This Southern Soul album is the best country I've heard in a long time. His sound is pure and he mixes original haromies with older stuff of his influences - genius! Buy this CD - YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.

This is the first time I've ever reviewed an album on iTunes. I'm an avid fan of all kinds of music. From classic rock to dubstep and everything in between. I only started getting into country music a few years back. It didn't take too long though to burn out on the pop type "country" that is all too common on country radio. iTunes recommended Frank to me, and I'm so glad they did. Frank Foster is not just the best country musician I've ever heard, but possibly my favorite musician ever! I've bought all three of his albums and practically had them on repeat for months. It's amazing how I never get tired of it. His music is not overproduced and generic like so much of what's out there. It's well written, honest, and genuine. You can't go wrong with this or any of his albums. Every single song is awesome! Frank, if you're reading this, we need more, buddy!
