I've been listening to Katalepsy's new album for most of this year and I've been searching for a band that's equally as crushing, technical and elegant and I finally found one. Aegaeon is impressive on every level and my favorite songs of 2013 list now has anew entry because of them.

An 8 1/2 minute song full of intense riffs, ambient backing guitars, powerful screams, insane drum work, 100& production value, and an ending breakdown that sounds like the right hand of God is hitting earth. This song is insanely Godlike and deserves to be spread around the world. Absolutely incredible!!!
