Silent Treatment - EP

This EP appears to be a change of pace for The Joy Formidable. They have ditched the distortion and the powerful electric guitar for the more quiet and peaceful acoustic and piano. I think it is great that they are switching it up and trying new methods as they progress even farther in their musical career. But hopefully they will return to the same band we all came to know and love from The Big Roar and Wolf's Law.

Nice to have enough content to flesh out a separate play along with 9669, Anemone etc. If you are looking for something more earth-shattering to tide you over to the next album, try their early stuff on Sidecar Kisses and Tricky Nixon. A lot of fun.
