I think this band really stands out, and isn't quite like anything I've listened to before. I'd definitely recommend this album to anyone who enjoys spanish, ska, reggae, or anyone looking to listen to something different.

It is the best when you discover new sounds! Fayuca is a new favorite in my car and everywhere else I listen to music. Marialena has to be my favorite, followed close by Por Que Seguir. Passion! I like.

I've been a fan of the Fayuca live show but thought their earlier recorded efforts were a little lacking. Not this time. Barrio Sideshow definitely steps up the game. I think getting Fervor Records involved was a big plus for Fayuca. Having producer Ralph Patlan at the helm was a wise move as well. The lead off track Por Que Seguir knocks it out of the park. It's great to hear Fayuca finally connecting all the dots and finding their own voice. Highly recommended.

This album is leaps and bounds beyond the last one. They have really honed in on a polished signature sound as reflected by these expertly crafted nuggets of tasty jams. Even though the album explores a range of emotions, it's still a good high-energy listen all the way through. Of course it will never be the same as seeing them live, but still very good. The only drawback is that they could've jammed out a bit more..the whole thing is pretty short. For a nice slice, I recommend checking out track 4 (Stickier Than The Last) and track 6 (Sigo Amandote).

I like the song Shoot It Up with the dude from Authority Zero. The video is dope too. It's cool they sing in both english and spanish on here and they definitely have their own sound.

I saw this Band open for the Tribal Seeds in 2011. There were other bands, "Through the Roots" "RAC" "The Wiley One" The show was at the Marquee Theatre in Tempe, Az. When I first head FAYUCA I could not believe my ears. There was this sound that came from the left, and then the right, to the culmination of sound. There grooves and "sick guitar" play would make you stand still. The "Bronze Fonz" Raf would be undone his incredible talent and love for the drums shines through. Although I like this album "I do not Love it" I can listen to the "Assassination" all day and long. I wish Fayuca the best grow brothers GROW
