I wonder if I just got lucky and Apple changed Hallelujah to a single today... or if people are merely repeating what has already been said (apparently you couldn't always get Hallelujah as a single.)
Anyway. You can. Thanks Apple.

$9.99 for only one song that I'm going to listen too...that's highway robbery!!!.
By the way, I love Hallelujah.

So much complaining over nothing. Go to the Rufus song site...you can purchase Hallelujah there all by itself.

You're losing me, iTunes. As much as I want Hallelujah I won't buy the whole album for one song. My fiancee' doesn't have this problem with her zune. I may be switching MP3 playes soon.

Total,total,total ripoff.
Done with your service. I want one song. That's it.
What's the story?

There are a few songs on this album that would probably be worth buying. Too bad iTunes has saddled us with having to buy the whole album. No thanks. This is a shame because it does a huge disservice to the artists responsible for the better tracks on the album. If I were them I'd be pretty annoyed.

If you, like me, only want Hallelujah, Amazon will let you download an mp3 Rufus Wainwright version for 0.99 that can be transferred to iTunes.
