I don't know why everyone thinks this stuff is so different. This album has the same authentic originality as the old skool ST. A very defined band. Great punchy riffs, and the band has a great overall message in each song. Love the solo for 🎶God only knows🎶 Who I am!"

This album reminds me that ST is one of the greatest bands of the 80's, 90's, and still today. A perfect collision of punk, heavy metal and skateboard rock, it's amazing that ST sounds so recognizable and consistent for over 30 years. Better yet, it's been months since 13 came out and I play it over and over. Some of my favorites: Shake It, Smash It, This Ain't No Celebration and Living The Fight are trademark ST songs that are aggressive, fun and could easily be on earlier albums. Literarily, 18 seconds into Shake It, a blazing solo rips out (which happens over and over throughout the album). Slam City reminds me of earlier songs like Surf and Slam or Suicyco Mania. Till My Last Breath is a personal favorite, mixing funk, melodies and heavy metal together. Who else can pull that off? Just like the amazing How Will I Laugh Tomorrow or Asleep At The Wheel, God Only Knows and Till My Last Breath are slow burners which are often ST's best songs. Every track is good though. Mike Muir sounds as incredible as he always has, maintaining his unique style of singing. The guitar work on the album is also amazing and the best in several records. ST, this a win! Great job!! Hope there's more to come.
