We Got Tonight

RKVC ain't afraid to go big. "We Got Tonight" is a 7-song EP stuffed with pop hooks, great singing, huge shout choruses, and fun & unexpected songwriting. These guys can sing, and they put their voices right out front. But it's a joy listening to their arrangements, too - the way they blend loops and electronica with rock instruments is delightful. And while "Lifeline," the fun & funny "Troublemaker," and the dance-pop burst of energy "We Got Tonight" create a shamelessly huge dancehall sound, the quieter moments (the folky "Let Me Go," the of-the-moment ballad "Coming Home") are just as effective. RKVC bring the romantic pop in this fun set that'll get your head nodding. You don't even need to wear a black vest while listening. But it helps.
