She reminds me of the singer by the name of Marilyn Scott. Beautiful natural voice

Ok, Elephant is what brought me to this album, thats a great song. But then after purchasing the album without fully listening to it I was pleasantly surprised by the next tune, Smile. At that point I knew I was on to something good. What I like about this album is how the songs are sequenced. Its obvious a lot of thought was given into which songs would make the album and they did a really good job. If i had to choose an overall favorite, that I would want to see performed in concert, Telepathy answers the call. The bassline on that is infectious and Carol waxes poetically throughout the joint, its really nice! Her skill set and nuance takes each track to new heights. If you can't tell, I really dig this record ;) This album should be on everybody's playlist. I'm looking forward to catching her live show. Buy it now and support real artistry

I love this CD from beginning to end. The combination of Jeff Lorber's musical brilliance with Carol Duboc's unique melodic style and soulful sound is a perfect marriage. My favorite tracks are "Smile" and "Telepathy." Hubert Laws lends his musical genius to three songs and the album goes up even another level. Listening again. More later.
