I can't say enough good things about this album. These songs stick with you in the best way. The melodies are the type you keep humming, the artistry keeps you listening, and stories make you want to hear them again and again. It's rare these days to find people writing a set of songs that tell a story together and stand so well individually as well. Thank you Edward Herda for keeping the tradition of the album alive!

Edwarf Herda's "The Wondrous Folly of Vaughn Frogg" is one of the most beautiful compilations I have heard in a long time. The best way I could describe his music is a cross between Bob Dylan and Bjork. The music expresses honest life experiences in a soulful manner that can be heard and listened to again and again. Each of the songs compliment each other in their own individual manners where they could stand alone as singles, but go together so much better as a compilation. There is no question this music will last a lifetime.

i don't often take the time to write a review of an album but i just had to for this one. this album is my latest obsession. the songwriting, the voice, the harmonies, the production, the instrumentation… i am taken by it all! this album is not only a 'play-through,' it's a play-through-again-and-again… and again!

The Wondrous Folly of Vaughn Frogg is full of incredible stories. Each line from each song only creates a desire to know the artist even more - to figure out where he's been and what makes him tick. This album is full of passion and heart. I found myself listening to it on repeat. "Natural Disaster" is my favorite track, but there's no filler here.

This record is very pretty where it needs to be.. yet it can be dirty, raw and painful when you need it to be real. Its honest but playful with its tale.. An absolutely stellar freshman release by Edward Herda!
