I was wandering around the internet, as you do, and chanced upon this awesome band! You can hear influences in their music, but it manages to be totally original. I've got Playground on right now. I hear some Arcade Fire here, a touch of Beirut there, and then you get hit by some vocal harmonies from a Beach Boys kind of world right after a totally soulful bridge vocal. The thing is, it all fits and just leaves you thinking, while totally chilling out, 'Woah, cool! Didn't see that coming, and I'm glad it hit me.' Buy this album, it's good music.

Almost like a modern-day Fleewood Mac. I LOVE vocal harmony. These guys have put together such a promising debut, I can't wait to follow their career.

Listening to Indian Summer for the first time was one of those magical, musical moments that rarely come along... when you immediately know that you are listening to something very special! I have since listened over and over and I am continually amazed and delighted by this incredible band! A superb combination of musicians creating captivating, well crafted, soulful, MEANINGFUL music! Every song on this EP is a unique gem. The arrangements, harmonies, musicianship and production are stellar. I tend to have a very critical ear, but I truly can find nothing that I don't absolutely love about this EP. Thank you Indian Summer for blessing the world with your incredible gift!

I got their CD at the release party back in February and I haven't taken it out of my car yet. It fits every mood I'm in. It's fun singing along, or background music while my friends are in the car. I would definitely see them live again, I will certainly check out their next album... and you should too.
  • In More Ways than One, Four Days in Arkham Doesn

Whichever way you want to analyze a band, Indian Summer - and specifically, the Four Days in Arkham EP - passes the test. The quartet offers a little bit of everything in their sound - rockin' guitars, a haunting vocal on most tracks and the infusion of keyboard at all the right times. The lyrics are meaningful and translate to a variety of listeners' ears, the talent on instruments is overwhelmingly evident and Indian Summer creates a sound that's difficult to re-create. You'll try anyway, as you hear their songs in your head and hum the melodies days after hearing their creations. Buy the EP and you'll not only own the music, but earn the right to say "you knew them back when." -Charlie Peters

This is a great record, cohesive from start to finish…not an easy task, given all the styles Indian Summer covers on this album. The production is top-notch, the vocal harmonies are perfect throughout, but what stands out most is the songwriting…catchy, but engrossing, especially on repeat listens. Well worth it.

Indian Summer is amazing. It's hard to put into words; they have such a youthful feeling, yet at the same time, their sound is so classic rock sounding. Truly a great collaboration and collective of musicians, Indian Summer needs to be heard to be appreciated. Pick up this EP. You won't regret it!

Indian Summer is a group of incredibly talented and diverse musicians. These songs display those talents over and over again. This debut has a beautiful range of unique sounds including gritty rock, delicate harmonies, soft interludes, and groovy soulful tracks. I expect big things from Indian Summer if the sounds on Four Days in Arkham are any indication of what is to come!

This album is solid - playful. Indian Summer reminds me of the Black Keys. Very gifted group of musicians. I can't wait to hear them perform live!
