Every song on stone jam is a banger, just listen to Steve Arrington on vocals and guitar.

Oh my goodness! What more can we say about 'Show Time'? The smooth, thumping pocket with the hand claps and finger snaps, classic funk bass and horns with Steve Arrington leading the way!! This was one of the first cassettes I could just put on from beginning to end. I didn't even have to FF to 'Wait For Me'

There are so many ways of "smokin" and this album hits the spot...with many shades of Show Time....It's a freaking funkin party all the way. I still have the LP....try playing it at different pitches if have one of those Stantons record players and you will still feel like "smokin" it like we did back in the day when I was in college. An absolute must have for the serious funkster. Too bad Tom Browne couldn't keep up after the Funkin for Jamaica tune....

This is truely a good piece of music. It's classic Slave with all of the band members in sync and full groove. It's good to read the comments as well......I thought I was the olny one who knew how truely "dope' this music is.
  • Execeptional Album..must purchase, have to have it....

Without a doubt, one of the best LP's put out back in the 80's. Every single cut, oh man, heavy guitar riffs and Steve Arrington's voice just sets this off nicely. The interesting thing is every cut on here is slamming. And i am not just saying that. I mean seriously, you won't get any better than this... "Steal Your Heart Away and Snap Shot", nuff said!!!
