  • An Amazing voice with great emotional range

I found lijie on myspace. and she has a great rich voice like sarah maclachlan. it's sad when great talents like lijie can't seem to break through to mainstream success, but this indie album is produced well and sounds very finished and polished while allowing her rich voice to shine thru in the mix. i haven't heard all the songs, but i like "roam" the best so far.

I think this CD is my new favorite to play over and over again. This is something so different and fresh yet familiar and home.

lijie is a breath of fresh air and puts into words so intense of feeling that only can come from the soul.I had the fortune of talking to her at borders cafe where she signed my cd i bought , and to think i was only going to buy a cup of coffee. Lijie is going to be a name to remember when it comes to feelings that only a woman of her calibur can put into words. After she signed my cd i told her hang in there you are going to make it big someday. THANK YOU LIJIE FOR THE GREAT MUSIC. SIGNED A FAN FOR LIFE

Lijie is one of the best new breakout artists I have seen in a long time. She has a voice that will carry you away with songs that are both, beautiful and inspiring. They will make you forget the world around you.

Saw her open for Goh Nakamura, with another guitarist in the back. She plays the acoustic and singing type of music that you can't pull off unless you really HAVE the vocal talent. She seems really nice, I sat right next to her. I liked the music a lot. Lots of "Mmmmmm" humming kind of thing. A lot of the songs are similar, but on the whole, I regret not picking up an album. Keep rocking.
  • She sings from the heart...

"Blue" is by far Lijie's (Lee-jay) most emotional song. Although the title track "Roam" is up there too. You are treated by a voice that comes straight from the heart. With slow drums and subtle chirps from her guitar. Lijie caps the song off with an extraordinary A Cappella that draws you in and brings back all those feellings of past realationships. It pulls at your heart strings, and in a mear moment you are there with Lijie in all her pain. "Roam" is where Lijie treats us again with her hauntingly beautiful voice. She also demonstraits that she can play the piano with the same emotion and energy as her voice. Both her voice and the piano are synced through out the song and they seem as one. You will find yourself being lost in the song, wanting it to never end. Every song on this album is a journey into Lijie's life, that is unique and familiar. I find myself playing this album over and over again.
