Captain Robert's voice is fantastic. these guys have an awesome sound. they are also very cool people, their music is amazing. whoever said don't buy this must have been smoking crack, because you should buy this and everything else abney park has done. i never liked the song "creep" (or radiohead) before i heard abney park cover it.
  • Well, I guess this band isn't for everyone, but...

This is an excellent band! As they describe themselves on their MySpace page, they're like nothing you've ever heard, but everything you like! They are a breath of fresh air in an increasingly stagnant subculture; you can only tolerate so many songs that run on the same formula before you swear it off forever! Abney Park gives me hope for the survival of the Goth/Industrial scene! Buy this album! Buy all their albums! Get the word out to your friends!
  • My favorite new band!

Love this classic Abney Park album. The Wake is one of my all time favorites, both the original and the dream mix are incredible. Creep is also very good, as is Root of All Evil. And can't beat Rob's rendition of White Wedding.
