Most Math Rock bands do not have singers. This band was one of the very few that had a great singer while maintaining their Math Rock element. This new singers voice is way to frail and isn't the same.

I found these guys last year, and have ever since been waiting for this album, watched countless shaky, fuzzy phone recordings of their concerts preforming a few of the new songs, but this is the real deal. Ive listened to this album 5 times already and its great because ill never get tired of it! The artistry of this trio is amazing. Keep at it guys!

Just yesterday I bought the This Town Needs Guns album Animals, and fell in love with their complex instrumentation; I must have listened to it a hundred times yesterday. So, naturally I wanted to pick up more of their music. I previewed Havoc in the Forum, and after 30 seconds new I had just discovered something truly amazing. This album is simply perfect. I read a review that the singer changed and that you need to get used to his vocals. No offense to the original singer, but when I first listened to this album, I thought the singer had just gotten infinitely better. If I were to criticize anything from Animals, it would be that the instrumentation totally outshines the vocals; not to say that the vocals are bad in any way, it's just that they aren't on par with the musicianship of the rest of the band. That is SO not the case with this album. The vocals are absolutely beautiful and fit perfectly with the style of the band. Again, that criticism isn't to dissuade anyone reading this from buying Animals (can't give credible input for the rest of their music); Animals is still a great album, 13.0.0.0.0 is just strictly better. This album is definitely evolution in the right direction for this band. There is a ton of musical structure, and I think this vocalist makes them much more accessible. This album is a triumph and a must buy!

Too many math rockers beat you over the head with it. TTNG just breathes it naturally. Refreshing.

Attention grabbing, Fulfilling riffs, Gorgeous vocals, Mad time signatures, This is the correlation of music and art. (And even a little math?) It's the greatest thing I've listened to in a long time.

i think what really made TTNG for me was stu's voice . I really love the instrumentals, as always, but need to get use to the new singer.
