This would probably work, however the Dr. doing the narrating has the most UNrelaxing nasally voice and it actually gave me anxiety to listen to him. It was almost comical to listen to.

The review by Brooke4449 says Dr. Fuller speaks in "endless circles." That's an interesting way to describe it. Dr. Fuller uses a form of Eriksonian Hypnosis where the words are designed to bypass the conscious mind and speak directly to the unconcious. Erikson found that giving directions to the conscious mind can be met with resistance. So he created a technique that uses indirect suggestions, metaphors and symbols. For this reason Dr. Fuller's tracks can even be listened to without paying them much attention, while daydreaming or during sleep. The suggestions are heard by your unconcious mind which makes them most effective.

It is relaxing, but I am not sure of the effectiveness. While the intent of this tape is good, Dr Fuller talks in such endless circles that her point is not perceivable. Dr. Cohn seems to spend most of his time while under hypnosis implanting the idea that his tapes are great rather than working on the programming about eating habits.
